Principle
The Law of Moses prohibited Israelite homosexuality.
Explanation
We previously established that it was GOD who created:
- Man.
- Woman (for man).
- The concept of marriage, defining it as: a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife.
- Sex, as GOD brought the woman to Adam (as a gift to him), for pleasure, procreation, companionship, and to be a helper—a team to work and enjoy life together.
Since each of these are GOD’s creation, He set the guidelines on how they should work. In the Law of Moses, GOD said:
22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

The penalty for Israelite homosexuality under the Law of Moses was death:
13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both committed an abomination. They shall be put to death, for they are guilty.
