This is the 5th passage in "You Have Heard," where we facetiously edit a Scripture to make it read like we often tend to live it out in our lives.
In this passage, we look at what Jesus said about true discipleship as recorded in John 14:23-24.
23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will buy Christian t-shirts, music, movies, wear cross necklaces, and partially obey my teaching, when it's convenient. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me feel like it at the moment will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
