Psalm 139
GOD has searched us individually and known us perfectly. He knows when I sit down and when I get up. He knows my thoughts from where He is. He knows all of our ways perfectly. He knows what we will say even before we speak it. There is nowhere a person can go where GOD is not present. He sees through darkness as if it were day.
GOD created our innermost being—our soul—and he knit our body together inside our mother’s womb. Each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made. GOD’s works are wonderful. All of the days of our life are written in GOD’s book before one of them came to be. GOD’s thoughts are so numerous they outnumber the gains of sand on earth.
Psalm 145
GOD is my King. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise—His greatness no one can fully understand! One generation will tell of His great deeds to another. They will tell of His power, awesome works, celebrate His goodness and joyfully sing of His righteousness. GOD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. He is good to all people, having compassion on everything He has made. The LORD is faithful to all of His promises and loving towards everything He has made. He upholds those who fall and lifts up those who are bowed down. Every creature looks to Him to provide and He gives them their food at the proper time.
GOD is righteous and loving in everything. He is near to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of all who fear Him—He hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love Him, but the wicked He will destroy.
Psalm 148
Everything that exists was created by GOD. He commanded and the sun, moon, stars and highest heavens were created. He set them in place for ever and ever, and gave a decree that they should not pass away. The LORD—Jehovah—His name alone is exalted, for His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
Psalm 150
The LORD is to be praised for His acts of power and surpassing greatness.
